White Resin captures smooth surfaces and details, making it great for presentation-ready pieces or as a base for painted prints.
Grey Resin is perfect for general purpose prototyping and design, excellent for capturing small details.
Clear Resin is great for fluidics and moldmaking, optics, lighting, and any parts requiring translucency or showcasing internal features. Stereolithography 3D printing technology makes clear prints possible on the desktop.
Black Resin is formulated for models with very small features and intricate details.
Tough Resin is great for prototyping strong, functional parts and assemblies that will undergo brief periods of stress or strain.
Rigid Resin is reinforced with glass to offer very high stiffness and a polished finish. This material is highly resistant to deformation over time and is great for printing thin walls and features.
High Temp Resin has a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 289 °C @ 0.45 MPa—the highest on the 3D printing materials market. Use it to print models for environmental testing, or create molds and masters for production processes like casting and thermoforming.
Use Flexible Resin to produce parts that bend and compress. Similar to an 80A durometer rubber, Flexible is excellent for simulating soft-touch materials and adding ergonomic features to multi-material assemblies.
Grey Pro Resin’s high precision, moderate elongation, and resistance to deformation over time make it a versatile material suitable for a wide range of engineering applications.
With low modulus, high elongation, and high impact strength, Durable Resin produces parts with a smooth, glossy finish and high resistance to deformation. Use this material for applications requiring minimal friction.
Parts 3D printed on the Form 2 in silica-filled Ceramic Resin can be fired to create a fully ceramic piece. This experimental Form X material requires more trial and error than other Formlabs products.
A Class IIa long-term biocompatible resin with high resistance to fracture and wear that is ideal for hard splints, occlusal guards, and other direct-printed long-term orthodontic appliances. This clear material polishes to high optical transparency for beautiful final products.
A 20% wax-filled photopolymer for reliable casting with zero ash content and clean burnout, Castable Wax Resin accurately captures intricate features and offers the smooth surfaces stereolithography 3D printing is known for. Printed parts are suitable for custom try-ons and direct investment casting.
Castable Resin is our original formulation for direct investment casting. This pure polymer requires an alternate burnout from a typical wax schedule.
Polylactic acid or PLA is a biodegradable and bioactive thermoplastic aliphatic polyester derived from renewable resources, such as corn starch (in the United States and Canada), cassava roots, chips or starch (mostly in Asia), or sugarcane (in the rest of the world)
Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene or ABS is a common thermoplastic polymer. Its glass transition temperature is approximately 105 °C. ABS is amorphous and therefore has no true melting point. ABS is a terpolymer made by polymerizing styrene and acrylonitrile in the presence of polybutadiene.
TECH-G is an FDA approved high strength PETG filament designed specifically by Taulman for design engineering and architectural use. TECH-G has an amazing tensile strength of 5900 PSI with a limited elongation of 3% when 3D printed.
